Lahangan Sweet
Lahangan Sweet is sited in the eastern part of Bali, which is known as the Karangasem region. To get to this amazing viewpoint it’s approximately a 30-minute drivefrom Amed. It is one of Bali’s newest attractions offering an instagrammable spot that treats you to the best views of Mount Agung volcano and in addition to that you will be able to see Mount Rinjani on Lombok Island on a clear day.
After following a short path, you’ll find the Lahangan Sweet viewpoint on a mountain ridge. Up on the hill you will discover a variety of viewpoints and photo spots with a panoramic view. You can pose on the platform in the trees, on the swing, in a treehouse and on a square palm terrace, which is built on poles. All of these places offer a unique perspective with Mount Agung in the background.
It is important to know that there are no food vendors up on the hill, so don’t forget to bring a bottle of water and some snacks yourself.
A great add on is the camping area with generators you can use. Paying IDR 185 includes a tent and a sleeping bag plus pillow. There are two pit toilets available for use as amenities. Camping at Lahangan Sweet is a perfect idea if you want to enjoy the sunset and sunrise from there.
Using a scooter or a car is the most convenient and best way to reach Lahangan Sweet Bali. While locals get free entry, foreigners have to purchase an entry ticket at the ticket office for IDR 20. There are no official opening hours, which means you can visit anytime and spend as much time there as you want. Definitely worth a visit, being one of the most incredible sights Bali has to offer, with its mesmerizing landscape.
