Taro: A Created Tourism Village by the Artist Village of Ubud-Bali

Taro Village is located in Ubud District, Gianyar Regency-Bali. It is only about 20 minutes from the central arts and cultures of Ubud. There are a number of tourist attractions can be gazed at and experienced by tourists visiting this village ranging from the ancient temple of Gunung Raung temple established before the development of Besakih - the biggest temple complex in paradise, elephant rides, cycling, trekking, rice paddy tour and many more.

Taro Village is one of the old villages in Bali which was formerly known as Bhumi Sarwada. Taro village became a historical legend because it relates to the sacred journey of Maha Rsi Markandeya from Mount Raung, East Java to Bali Dwipa.

Tegal Dukuh Pit Stop also also provides special camping facilities for families, couples, communities or groups on a limited scale (maximum 60 people). This camp area is uniquely designed under hundreds of shady sago trees (enau) supported the natural surrounding atmosphere.
We currently provide 10 tents ready for rent and other 6 tents that will be installed soon. They are 8 tents with a capacity of 2-4 people and 2 large tents for 4-8 people.
