Seminyak Beach
South Bali's Seminyak is a beachfront resort region distinguished for its beaches and traditional Balinese cuisine. Seminyak beach is Bali's most fashionable beach, home to among the island's luxurious resorts and host to a number of restaurants and boutiques. Fashion stores and top dining spots line the streets, from Jalan Petitenget to Jalan Kayu Aya. Seminyak Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, horse riding facilities, bars and lively nightlife situated north of Legian Beach. The white sand stretch 3 km from Tuban Area has made it a fascination for many international tourists to visit this place.

There are many beaches in Seminyak Bali such as Double Six Beach, Kuta Beach, Seminyak Beach, Pandawa Beach and Legian Beach. All of them have a very similar infrastructure. However, in this paragraph I will focus on Double Six Beach, since it is one of the most popular beaches in Bali.
There is constant activity going on, whether it is soccer, beach volleyball, concerts, drum circles, or outdoor club nights, as it is a part of the crowded Seminyak strip and situated in front of a row of beachside restaurants and nightclubs. During the day tourists can relax in the sun and rent an umbrella and sunbed.
Furthermore, it is one of the best places in Bali to engage in surfing due to a wide offer of surf courses. However, swimmers should be careful not to go too deep, because the ocean might occasionally have strong currents. Although there are almost always lifeguards here, they have a lot of people to keep an eye on. Also be aware that there are no offers in terms of snorkeling around Seminyak Beaches. If you are hungry, there are many restaurants located on the beach that make the place very lively. Moreover, it is a perfect spot to enjoy the sunset with some live music. As soon as the sun goes down, you will see a lot of locals playing games like tennis or soccer at the beach.
Local and western foods are available around Seminyak Beach
Double Six Beach is easily accessible by car or motorcycle, being in the middle of Seminyak. Coming in or out after dusk might be difficult, especially with a car, because of the parking situation. This is a great place to visit with a scooter, taxi or driver, and it's also conveniently accessible on foot from the surrounding areas. The entrance is free.
